Description: Furnish Medical Record Coder services to the beneficiaries of the VAMC, North Chicago, IL. This contract will supplement work completed by VA North Chicago in-house coders. Contractor is required to code a minimum of 96 outpatient encounters per 8-hour day for each coder. Contractor to code a minimum of 2,000 encounters per week until 6,000 encounters have been coded. When not in backlog status, VA North Chicago will utilize contractor on an as needed basis. This requirement is set aside for 100% service disabled veteran owned small businesses. Term of contract is from date of award through September 30, 2006.
