- This is a notice of intent to negotiate and award a sole source firm fixed purchase order, with the Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond, VA) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 to provide preceptor support services for a multi-phased clinical Field Internship-Hospital Rotation Program for military medical students attending the Joint Special Operations Combat Medic/Special Forces Medical Sergeants Course at the U.S. Army John F Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, Fort Bragg, NC. Preceptor support services include organization of preceptee activities and coordinating with hospital administration and staff for preceptee clinic-specific instruction with hands-on patient medical care exposure as it relates to an Affiliation Agreement executed between the parties. This notice is not a request for offers. The anticipated date of award is 15 August 2006. The contractor identified is the only known source for the subject requirement. Response to this notice will be used to determine if bona fide competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical and pricing information. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. However, determination to compete or not to compete this procurement action is solely at the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received not later than 4:00 pm EST on 20 July 2006. No extensions will be granted. The Government will not pay for any information submitted.
