- Request for Quotation Number: DE-RQ06-06RL14798 Requiring Agency: U.S. Department of Energy, Richland Operations Office (RL) RFQ date submission: No later than close of business July 24, 2006, Pacific Standard Time This acquisition will be awarded per FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for other than commercial items. Section 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. REQUIREMENTS: Item 1: Close-Quarter Battle Thermal Sight Quantity - 5 ??? Can be used as a stand-alone weapon sight or as a clip-on thermal imager for day sight. ??? Water proof to 20 meters ??? Advanced uncooled thermal sensor designed for long life and high reliability. ??? Battery life exceeds 4.5 hours of continuous operation. ??? RS-170 analog video output. ??? 20 degree Horizontal field of view (FOV) ??? Focus range of 1 meter to infinity ??? Must meet current military standard 1913 for the weapon rail mount interface and meet or exceed all military specs. Item 2: Day/Night Sight for M203 Grenade Launcher Quantity - 7 ??? Better than 5 meter accuracy ??? Tilt adjust knob coupled to a real time data display to allow fast and accurate adjustment of range. ??? LCD displays distance in meters, cant indication & low battery information. ??? Integral infrared (IR) pointer and IR illuminator for precise aiming at night. ??? IR pointer pulsates when launcher is canted off center. ??? Boresight adjusters for zeroing the aiming and illumination beams. ??? Tactile button to control the IR pointer. ??? Mechanical range scale for firing without battery. ??? Must meet current military standard 1913 for the mounting rail to enable attachment of optional optical reflex and holographic sights. ??? System must meet or exceed all military specs INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR QUOTERS ??? This will be awarded as a firm fixed-price purchase order. ??? This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text.
