Description

Design and construction services of an approximately 20-acre lined landfill expansion area. The project will provide approximately 1.2 million cubic yards of landfill volume as required for Phase II of the planned six phase expansion program for the Las Pulgas Landfill at Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California. The landfill expansion will include a liner and leachate recovery system (LCARS) and will comply with the regulatory requirements of California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 27 Chapters 3 and 4 and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Titles 40 and 258, Subpart C Operating Criteria and Subpart D, Design Criteria, including extensive outside agency oversight.This acquisition will be procured in a competitive negotiated environment using design-build source selection procedures set forth in FAR Part 15 and FAR Part 36.3
