- This requirement is for the procurement of 30 each Augmentor Liners, NSN 2840-01-190-6881PR, P/N 5054M24G01 applicable to the F110-100/129 engines. This item is approximately 16 inches in height by 39 inches in diameter. The predominant material of manufacture is Titanium alloy. Item Description: The Liner is a sheet metal duct with one row of 20 struts, 20 seals that house the local spray bars, 40 seals that house the fan/core spray bars and 20 support hangers. The function is to direct the flow of fan discharge air to the exhaust nozzle and also directs turbine gases to the mixing duct and seals the two gases from each others path where local and fan/core spray bars pass through the duct. The government may place an order against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement. The governments required delivery schedule is Nov 06. Items will be delivered to FB2039, Tinker AFB. A first article will be required if the contractor has not provided this item within the last 36 months. New and unused government surplus is acceptable. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR 52.209-1. Additional information may be obtained from the Source Development Office, OC-ALC/BC, 3001 Staff Drive, Ste# 1AC85A, Tinker AFB OK 73145-3009 or (405) 739-7243 or (405) 739-7244. The government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. The currently approved source(s) are General Electric in Cincinnati, OH; Barnes Aerospace in Ogden, UT; Smith?s Aerospace in Terre Haute, IN; Turbo Combustor Technology in Stuart, FL and Gentz Industries in Warren, MI. Both written and electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests will be accepted. The contracting office will accept proposals in response to this solicitation via fax number (405) 739-5493. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This solicitation will be made available to interested parties through electronic data interchange. This solicitation will be posted via the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Technical data is available and may be accessed via the Federal Technical Data Solutions website http://www.fedteds.gov. Note: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes.
