Description

Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for Air and Missile Defense Operational Test Suite (AMDOTS) remote monitoring unit servers and associated software to Protogate, Inc., 12225 World Trade Dr., STE R, San Diego, CA 92128. The requested purchase order assists in meeting USSTRATCOM objectives to update and automate the integrated tactical warning attack assessment system (ITW/AA) at various locations. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because Protogate is the only provider on the commercial market that currently posesses the capability of providing the required components and software for the AMDOTS.
