- Description
- The National Marine Fisheries Service, Northwest Fisheries Science Center, Ecotoxicology Program has a requirement for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract for Fisheries Biologist II and Fisheries Biologist III support services. Contractor is required to perform scientific tasks necessary to fulfill the objectives and mission of the Ecotoxicology and Environmental Fish Health Program in the Environmental Conservation Division, Northwest Fisheries Science Center, NOAA Fisheries. These tasks include assessment of exposure to fish and other marine, estuarine and aquatic species to various chemical contaminants in the environment (e.g., polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, pesticides, polychlorinated biphenyls, etc.) and measures of various adverse biological effects, including pathological abnormalities, various mortalities influencing population-level alterations, immune system alterations, changes in behavior and neurological alterations, and alterations in fish-associated food chains and essential fish habitat. Solicitation documents will be available for download on or about July 11, 2006. At this time, interested parties will be able to go to the FedBizOpps website and download a copy of the solicitation. Paper copies will not be issued. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541690 and the size standard is $6.5M.
