Description

Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to Replace A/C Units at U. S. Coast Guard Station Oregon Inlet, Nags Head, North Carolina. Work Items Include: Remove existing indoor air handling units #1, #2 and #4. Replace with new units as scheduled on contract drawings. Reconnect existing ductwork, electrical, and control wiring. Provide and install 12 new combination flow, balancing and isolation valves and six new 3-way mixing valves to replace existing valves on six hot water coils located above the suspended ceiling. Insulate all new valves and repair existing piping insulation where the existing insulation has been disturbed to install the new valves. Remove, store, and reinstall existing suspended ceiling tiles to gain access to install new valves. This project requires phasing, only one air handling unit at a time shall be removed, new unit installed and completely operable before the next unit is removed. This procurement is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. The applicable NAICS is 238220 with a size standard of $13M. Completion time is 80 DANTP. This project is set aside for small businesses.
