Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Montana Area Office, (Reclamation) intends to have a cultural resources inventory of a total of approximately 6,950 acres of land under the jurisdiction or administration of the Bureau of Reclamation, Montana Area Office. The lands to be inspected are located at four reservoirs in Montana and are distributed as follows: 1,800 acres at Lake Elwell (Tiber Reservoir), Liberty and Toole Counties; 1745 acres at Fresno Reservoir, Hill County; 105 acres at Nelson Reservoir, Phillips County; and 3,300 acres at Clark Canyon Reservoir, Beaverhead County. The numbers of acres stated above were calculated based on reservoir levels as indicated on United States Geological Survey (USGS) topographic maps. Reservoir levels at the time the Contractor conducts the work may be higher or lower than those shown on the maps, which will result in a decrease or increase in the size of the survey areas. The quote schedule is tentatively schedule to be available on or around June 30, 2006. The receipt of quotes is tentatively scheduled for July 31, 2006 at the Bureau of Reclamation Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th, Billings, Montana. There is no charge for the first copy of this request for quote, and additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 for additional set. All reasonable sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 712120. This is a small business set-aside. After issuance, the Solicitation/Contract/Order (Commercial Items) (Standard Form 1449) may be viewed at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. To request a hard copy of the solicitation (including the Statement of Work) contractors must fax a request to (406) 247-7798, Attn: Hart Black Eagle. The request must be on Company Letterhead, and include the following information: contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, e-mail address, Tax Identification Number, and Dun and Bradstreet number. Vendors are required to register in CCR prior to award of a contract.
