Description

The 311th Human Systems Wing/PKBA, Brooks City-Base TX, intends to award a purchase order to Qiagen Inc., 27220 Turnberry Ln, Suite 200, Valencia CA 91355-1005. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional informatinn included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-02. The associated North American Industry Classification (NAICS) for this procurment is 541710 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to issue a purchase order for 1 each Qiagen BioRobot M48 (BRAND NAME ONLY) to include Starter Pack, App. Package M48 Inf. Dis (CD), Application Expansion Pack and to include installation. The provision at FAR Part 52.212-1, Instruction of Offers Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR provisions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; 52.232-33, Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment; DFAR 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration and FAR 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, appies to this acquisition, including subparagraphs (11),(12),(13),(14),(15) and (17). Firms that recognize and can provide the BRAND NAME requirement described above are encouraged to identify themselves and proivde proposals. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer represents the Best Value for the government. All responses received by Friday, 23 Jun 2004, 4:00 PM (CST) will be considered by the government.
