Description

Maintenance service for Carrier and Amarillo Gear chillers located at the James A. Haley Veterans? Hospital, Tampa Florida: Qty. 3 - Carrier 19XR7271565EJS68 1000-ton centrifugals, serial numbers 58859, 58358, 58357. Qty. 1 - Carrier 19XR4142385CQH68, 500-ton, serial #58356. Qty. 1 - Carrier 19XR, 1000-ton. Qty. 4 - Amarillo Gear, 1000-ton, Tower Gear Drive. Full maintenance, emergency call-out service, repairs, and inspections for listed equipment, for a base year plus 2 option years. Due to the critical nature of this service in a semi-tropical hurricane prone area, the VA believes the most prudent course of action for this procurement is through sole source negotiation with the manufacturer, Carrier Corp. However, if other interested contractors believe they have full capability to perform this service, information detailing this capability is requested NLT 23 June 2006, 4:00 pm.
