The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract for the general HVAC service and maintenance of HVAC units at Governors Island National Monument, New York, NY. Buildings #107 (Headquarters), #140 (NPS), #202, #206, #210 and #214 are located on Governors Island ? mile from the tip of Manhattan, NY. HVAC services are required to maintain the air conditioning and boiler units in good operating condition. The Island is accessed by the Governors Island Ferry departing from the Battery Maritime Building, #10 South Street, Slip # 7. LOCATION: Governors Island National Monument, New York, NY 10004. The NAICS code for this project is 238220 and the small business size standard is $13.0 million. A contract will be awarded for the remainder of fiscal year 2006 with four options years. This procurement is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women-owned business enterprises. A site visit is scheduled for June 21, 2006. Contact Ed Lorenzini at (212) 825-3050.
