Description: The Strategic Systems Programs intends to contract with Interstate Electronics Corporation to provide specialized Technical Engineering Services, Logistics Services and Field Support Services to install, operate and maintain Test Instrumentation subsystems, spares, and related support equipments in support of existing TRIDENT II (D-5) weapon systems. As the design agent/manufacturer of the subject test instrumentation, IEC is the only known source having the required knowledge of the testing requirements of the D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile and Strategic Weapons Systems as well as expertise in the testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and modification of the test instrumentation systems and support equipment for the TRIDENT II (D5) Test program.
