- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City (NSWC PC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Girolami Controls Incorporated, 547 Lepine, Dorval, Quebec, Canada for the acquisition of repair services for three (3) MK-105 Mod 4 Magnetic Influence Minesweeping System. This procurement also includes the following repair/spare parts: two (2) Power Supply Assembly (p/n 201-2-234), one (1) SBC Assembly (p/n 222-577), one (1) ECA Door (p/n 601-1-376), two (2) I/O Assembly (p/n 220-576), six (6) Pop-Up Indicators (p/n L21603-01-16) and twelve (12) Circuit Breaker Boots (p/n X200-801-04). As ISEA of the MK-105 Mod 4, NSWC PC, Code A22 is responsible for a majority of the Navy depot repair of the Weapon Replaceable Assemblies (WRA). This procurement is sole source for the following reasons. The Engine Control Assembly (ECA) is built exclusively by Girolami Controls Inc of Doval Quebec Canada. The Navy only owns Source Control Drawings of this WRA. The repair of these assets is beyond U.S. Navy capability and can only be repaired by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Girolami Controls Incorporated is the OEM for these items. Therefore it is imperative that these items are repaired/provided by Girolami Controls immediately to correct the shortfall of spares for the U.S. Navy.
