Description: The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a contract modification to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation under contract N00019-00-C-0277 for an end of life buy of seventy (70) Sun Blade 2500 Motherboards, fifty-two (52) video-graphic adapters and seventy (70) audio cards. These components will shortly go out of production. They are needed for the production of the RQ-8B Fire Scout Vertical Take-Off Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (VTUAV) Control Station/console and in a timeframe to meet an installation schedule for the new Littoral Class Ship. Northrop Grumman is the designer, developer and sole producer of the RQ-8B Fire Scout VTUAV.
