Description

Design-build contract to install two pedestrian trail bridges. Provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment and incidental supplies to construct the Butcher Branch bridge and Coal Run Creek bridge. Work includes site engineering, design, fabrication, and installation of an approximately 120 foot span by five foot wide perfabricated weathering steel pedestrian bridge. Butcher Branch bridge site is in a remote location with very restricted access. Coal Run Creek bridge is approximately 70 foot span by five foot wide prefabricated weathering steel pedestrian bridge. There are no utilities (electrical, gas, water or sewer) at these locations. Performance period is 180 calendar days. Payment and performance bonds are required. The North American Industry Class System (NAICS) code is 234120. Estimated construction price range is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Davis Bacon wages apply to construction.
