*This is not a solicitation. This is only an estimate and will not bind the contractor or the Government in any way or at any time into a contract with any of the specified terms below. MARKET SURVEY Solicitation Number: W15P7T-06-B-L227 Market Survey for Grounding Kit Surface Wires. This is a market survey to locate sources for these Grounding Kit Surface Wires. The U.S. Army is seeking to identify vendors with the capability to provid e all of the following items in accordance with C-E LCMC drawings, parts lists, and SOW. It is projected that a solicitation for a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract with ranges will follow. The following information provides total year data with range breakout. The specified ranges for the Grounding Kit Surface Wires will apply to all five (5) years of this contract as follows. Quantities may vary due to demand. NSN: 5820-01-263-1760, SC-D-68 1610 ,Range A 1-500, Range B 501-1000, Range C 1001-1500, Range D 1501-2000, Range E 2001-2500, and Range F 2501-3000. The government requires the start of delivery within ninety (90) days after award of contract for any or all items set forth above. If First Article Test (FAT) is required, the Grounding Kit Surface Wire (NSN: 5820-01-263-1760) shall be provided, within 180 days after contract award, at a rate of 200 each; then within 210 days after contract award, at a monthly rate of 350 per month t hereafter until completion. IF FAT requirements are waived, Grounding Kit Surface Wire (NSN: 5820-01-263-1760) shall be provided within 90 days after award, at a rate of 200 each; then within 120 days after contract award, at a monthly rate of 350 per mon th thereafter until completion. FAT is required on the following listed items by all interested sources, with the exception of UNICOR. If FAT is required, a FAT plan and FAT report must be provided and approved by the Government prior to the manufacture and delivery of Grounding Kit Surface Wires. Interested Sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Suppliers capable of providing these items in accordance with the Government requirements within the required delivery schedule shall respond in writing. The re sponses should be a short introductory description (unclassified) outlining a viable approach that meets the above needs and should address production capability and pricing. Responses from interested sources shall address their capability to act as a sin gle provider for the quantities of Grounding Kit Surface Wires specified herein. The drawings will be posted on the Interactive Business Opportunities Web Page (IBOP). The U.S. Army C-E LCMC has established the IBOP website as part of the Armys Single Face to Industry (ASFI), to allow electronic posting of Solicitations for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from C-E LCMC to Industry.
