Description

The U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) is soliciting offers under Request for Proposal Number: W56HZV-06-R-A505 for a 10 MVA Mobile Transformer as described in the solicitation. This is a pre-solicitation notice, otherwise known as a synopsis (summary). Contractors should not call the buyer seeking either the solicitation or the drawings as they will not be available until 15 days of this notice. This solicitation is competitive and will result in a fixed-price contract for one tr ansformer. Solicitation to be issued electronically on or about 28 June 2006 on FedBizOpps at www.FedBizOpps.gov. Proposals due on or about 28 July 2006. Only electronic submissions will be accepted. Paper coies of the solicitation are not available. All offers are required to check this website daily for any updates/amendments to the solicitation once it is made available. All questions are to be submitted in writing to liedkec@tacom.army.mil. Questions submitted less than 5 days prior to the closin g date may not be addressed before soliciation closing date, therefore, offerors are advised to submit quesiton as soon as possible. All con tractors must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to any contract award.
