Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4918-06-T-0036 is hereby issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). The procurement will follow simplified acquisition procedures in FAR Part 13. The applicable standard industrial code (SIC) for business size determination is 3484 with a size standard of 1000 employees, and NAICS 332994. Tyndall AFB is soliciting quotes for the following commercial items: CLIN 0001: 16 ea, Mobility Weapon Rack for M4A1 Rifles, Patriot Manufacturing PN PSAR820M4A, 0002: 1 ea Mobility Weapon rack for M240 Machine Guns, Patriot Manufacturing PN PSAR240-10. All items are to be shipped to Tyndall AFB. Any prospective offeror must be enrolled in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award of any Department of Defense (DoD) contract. Enrollment may be accomplished electronically at: http://www.ccr.gov. All qualified parties should submit a written quote, including a Dunn & Bradstreet number. Quotes must be received by 2:00 P.M. (CST), on 16 Jun 2006. All quotes shall reference RFQ FA4819-06-T-0036 and must contain all required documentation. Point of contact is Leslie Richardson, Purchasing Agent at 850-283-3634.
