Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is being requested. Solicitation number N62786-06-T-0020 applies. Quotes must be received by 12:00 p.m. on June 30, 2006. The RFQ and incorporated revisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-09. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. The Government intends to award to only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. The proposed acquisition is being processed utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures on an other than full and open competitive basis to Crane Pumps & Systems, P.O. Box 603, Piqua, OH 45356. It is anticipated that award will take place on or before July 07, 2006. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 333911. SupShip Bath has a requirement to contract for the following item: Item 0001: Upgrade VCHT Pump(s) from current status to latest revision of 082681MP; Qty: 4 Each. The following provisions/clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1; FAR 52.212-2; FAR 52.212-3; FAR 52.212-4 and FAR 52.212-5. Numbered Note 22: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based! upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determing whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
