Description

Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Coeur dAlene River, Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry, and Priest Lake Ranger Districts; Kootenai, Shoshone, Bonner, and Boundary Counties, Idaho. This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation AG-0281-S-06-0038 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text form at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The North American Industry Classification Code is 325320. A quotation is requested for 27 line items. Line Items 1 through 6 shall be shipped to the Coeur dAlene River Ranger District at 2502 E. Sherman Avenue, Coeur dAlene, Idaho 83814 to arrive July 6, 2006 during regular business hours. Line Items 7 through 10 shall be shipped to the Coeur dAlene River Ranger District at 2502 E. Sherman Avenue, Coeur dAlene, Idaho 83814 to arrive August 3, 2006 during regular business hours. Line Items 11 through 14 shall be shipped to the Coeur dAlene River Ranger District at 2502 E. Sherman Avenue, Coeur dAlene, Idaho 83814 to arrive September 7, 2006 during regular business hours. Line Items 15 through 27 shall be delivered to the Sandpoint Ranger District at 1500 Highway 2 in Sandpoint, Idaho 83864, the Bonners Ferry Ranger District at 6286 Main Street in Bonners Ferry, Idaho 83805 and the Priest Lake Ranger District at 32203 Highway 57 (north of) Priest River, Idaho 83856; one designated Forest Service employee shall contact the contractor on a monthly basis to request delivery during each of the months of June, July and August, 2006. Deliveries for Line Items 15 through 27 shall not be made prior to the monthly request being received by the contractor. Amounts given in Line Items 15 through 27 represent the total desired quantities for the Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry and Priest Lake Districts for the entire 2006 season; with each monthly request, the Forest Service representative will state the specific quantity of each specific chemical to be delivered to specific District offices on a specific date of the given month. Offer shall specify how material will be packaged for delivery. All deliveries shall be made on regular workdays (Monday through Friday) during regular business hours (7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.), excluding official Federal Government holidays. Contractor shall notify the Government at the specified delivery location a minimum of 24 hours prior to delivery. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. One or more contract awards will be offered to the best value offer or offers made to the Government, considering technical specifications, price and availability. Offerors will include with their offer a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
