- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06. The acquisition will be processed as a full and open c ompetition. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 333618 with the size standard being under 1000 employees to be considered a small business. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) from C-E LCMC Acquisition Center, Fort Monmouth, N J 07703, AMESL AC-CA-RT-U, and the number assigned to it is W15P7T-06-Q-F846. The proposed action is for a Firm Fixed Price contract for 29 remanufactured Onan model 100-1344, 5 kW/60Hz Diesel Engines, National Stock Number (NSN) 2815-01-046-5861 which wi ll be delivered 180 DAC, for 100 remanufactured Onan model 100-1345, 10 kW/60Hz Diesel Engines, NSN 2815-01-046-5862 which will be delivered 365 DAC, and for 20 remanufactured Onan model DJFM-MS/3695A, 10 kW/400 Hz Diesel Engines, NSN 2815-01-095-7453 whic h will be delivered 180 DAC. The government will not be providing any type of Government Furnished Property (GFP) for this purchase. It will be the contractors responsibility to acquire enough engine cores to complete the requirement. Packaging will be in accordance with CECOM Special Packaging Instruction AG00000573 and Military Standards MIL-STD-129P with change 3 and MIL-STD-130L with change 1 will apply. Inspection and acceptance will be at the source and the FOB Point is Destination. These items will be delivered to XU Transportation Officer, DDSP New Cumberland Facility, Building Mission Door 113-134, New Cumberland, PA 17070. A commercial warranty of one year will apply. RFID and UID will apply. There is no technical data package available but the government does have Configuration Baseline Drawings 72-5306 Rev L, 72-5307 Rev K, and 72-5310 Rev M. These drawings do not provide the form fit and function of the item but they are available. Bill of Materials, please list what items are usually replaced and what items are usually remanufactured. 5. Demonstrate how material to include the cores will be obtained to complete the work effort. 6. Please list any subcontractors if they are going to do more than 20% of the work. (c) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the of fers specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
