- The 36th Contracting Squadron at Andersen AFB, Guam is issuing a presolicitation notice for "Assignment Guam", a commerical enterprise guide published to provide Navy and Air Force personnel and their dependents information about the missions of their respective commands, their respective installations, community services available, local geography and history and other related information regarding assignment on Guam. The publisher will distribute copies to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam and Naval Station Guam. An electronic version will also be available in web format, as well as on interactive CDs. All proceeds from the sale of advertisements for the guide shall go to the publisher, who agrees to look exclusively thereto for all his/her costs and profits. This unofficial guide and directory will be furnished at no cost to the U.S. Government or to any agency thereof and will not be charged to any contract with U.S. Government. Advertising restrictions apply. Performance under this contract will be at the contractor?s facility. Delivery will be to Andersen AFB Public Affairs Office and Naval Station Guam. We anticipate issuing a request for proposals in the form of a combined synopsis/solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. This RFQ will be available electronically on/about Tuesday 13 June 2006, and may be accessed through the FedBiZOps website at http://fedbizops.gov. This notice does not commit the Government to award a contract. No collect calls will be accepted. No facsimile transmissions will be accepted. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to award a contract now or in the future. This is not a request for proposals. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on responses under this announcement. There are no Government-wide numbered note(s) that apply to this requirement.
