Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation purchase request # F2QF106136A100. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions ands clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-09. This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside under NAICS code 334111 and small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Description: Line Item #1: 1 each head node with the following minimum requirements: Rackmount chassis, 2 each Dual-Core CPU minimum 2.4 GHz capable of running both 32bit and 64bit applications concurrently (minimum AMD Opteron 280 or equivalent), 1 Terabyte of hard drive space, 8 Gigabytes of RAM, 1 each DVD-ROM. Line Item #2: 8 each Compute Nodes each with the following minimum requirements: Rackmount chassis, 2 each Dual-Core CPU minimum 2.4 GHz capable of running both 32bit and 64bit applications concurrently (minimum AMD Opteron 280 or equivalent), 250 Gigabytes of hard drive space, 8 Gigabytes of RAM. Line Item #3: 1 each 24-port Gigabit Ethernet switch, rack mountable. Line Item #4: 1 each UPS, 3000VA, Input 30A, 120V, NEMA L5-30P, rack mountable. Line Item #5: Mounting hardware such as rails, screws etc. Line Item #6: Cables, Ethernet Network. Place of delivery for acceptance and FOB destination will be 205 Dodd Blvd, Suite 207, Langley AFB, VA 23665-2788, estimated delivery date ARO. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable. The clause at 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and the offeror must ensure a completed ORCA is available for download. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era. The clause at FAR 52.224-1, Privacy Act Notification and FAR 52.224-2, Privacy Act; FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds-Central Contractor Registration. The clause at DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration; DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders; DFARS 252.225- 7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program. The Government reserves the right to award on a multiple award or an all or none basis. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database @ www.ccr.gov.
