Description: The intent of this contract is to secure services of piling down woody material using a tractor mounted with a brush rake. The project consist of approximately 161 acres. Project area may be reached from Sierraville, CA via Highway 49 north 14 miles to Smithneck Road. Right onto Smithneck Road for 12 miles to Babbitt Lookout Road. Left on Babbitt Lookout Road for approximately 1.5 miles to Jones Valley. Left at the ?Y? in Jones Valley for 1 mile to the project area. Solicitation will be available approximately June 26, 2006. Bid open date will be approximately July 25, 2006. Start work date will be approximately August 1, 2006 for approximately 127 days.
