- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W81UBH-6101-0001; request for quotation. The Oregon Army National Guard, Oregon Sustainment Maintenance Site, has a requirement to remanufacture basic Rem-DN2M-1, 2-cyli nder and Rem-DN4M-1, 4 cylinder engines. The scope of work is as follows: Approximately 10 each Remanufacture basic Rem-DN2M-1, 2-cyliner and approximately 10 each Rem-DN4M-1, 4 cylinder engines, water pump to rear of block, tested and certified with the following components removed from the pre-returned core engines, cleaned and refitted to the remanufactured engine: flywheel, flywheel housing, fuel filter bracket, FCS bracket mounting studs, coolant drain valve, oil pressure fitting, the oil drain valve and piping (first fill oil included engines will be shipped wet). The starter motor and battery charging alternator to be removed from the core, remanufactured and reinstalled on the remanufactured engine. The complete assembly is to be painted standard army green color; color to be approved by the government prior to painting of equipment. Shipping containers will be provided by the Oregon Army National Guard and remain government property. All work to be completed within 30 calendar days from receipt o f equipment and contractor must offer a warranty of workmanship. The contractor will need to provide an estimated core engine credit as a separate entry in their proposal, as well as identify any other refundable parts. Partial payments will be authorized for this acquisition; final payment will not be made until the amount of the full credit to the government is known. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 336312. This acquisition is set aside 100% for smal l business. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and provides the lowest price that offers the most advantageous delivery schedule and warranty to the gov ernment. Evaluation criteria will be based on delivery schedule and warranty offered. Awardee must be registered on the Central Contractors Registration database (CCR) and accept payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Offerors proposals shall be vali d for a minimum of 30 days and be stated so in the vendors offeror.
