Description
The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends negotiate an Indefinite Delivery Requirements type contract with Firm Fixed Price provisions and will utilize procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The contractor shall provide in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, laws, and ordinances, and in accordance with the specifications outlined for accreditation certification as applicable, patient specimen testing for the specific ranges of referral testing. Services shall include performance of analytical test results and consultative services for the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Laboratory Medicine Services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 621511, and the size standard is $11.5M. The period of performance is 01 July 2006 through 30 June 2007 with the option to extend the contract with four-one years options. The Request for Quote (RFQ) package is available by downloading the documents at http:// www.neco.navy.mil, www.fbo.gov or www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
