Description
Senior Representatives from DoD Cyber Crime Center (DC3) are conducting an Industry Day Briefing on 12 June 2006 at the BWI Airport Marriott, 1743 West Nursery Road, Linthicum, MD 21090. Register before 19 May and receive the Early Bird Registration price of $259.00 for Industry Contractors and $179.00 for Government and Academia. After 19 May the price for attendance will be $279.00 for Industry Contractors and $199.00 for Government and Academia. The objective of the Cyber Crime Center (DC3) Industry Briefing Day is to educate and inform industry contractors, government and academia representatives on the current and forecasted needs for the DC3 community in terms of technology requirements, contracting requirements and programs of interest. There will be numerous opportunities to ask questions and network with DC3 staff, industry personnel, academia and representatives of other government agencies. The Industry Day theme, ?Attacking Cyber Crime: the Evolving Disciplines,? focuses on the current issues surrounding cyber crime. The morning session will overview DC3?s mission and current challenges. thus giving Industry and Academia more insight into the solutions they should provide. This conference is well suited for CTOs, Technical Liaisons, Program Managers, R/D individuals, Senior Scientists. Business Development and Sales Managers are also encouraged to attend. Afternoon sessions will be divided into the following 4 disciplines: Defense Computer Forensics Laboratory (DCFL) Defense Cyber Crime Institute (DCCI) Defense Computer Investigations Training Program (DCITP) DC3 facility tour and special demos Attendees will have an opportunity to attend any two of the four tracks. The Industry Day will conclude with a networking social leaving each participant amble time to ask pertinent questions and meet various peers within the cyber crime industry. Individuals who would like to continue discussions on collaborating relationships, and the direction of DC3 and its will have the opportunity to have a 15 minute meeting with senior staff members on the 13 June 2006 at the DoD Cyber Crime Center.
