Description

The 20th Contracting Squadron, Shaw AFB, SC intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with O'gara-Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Co, Fairfield, OH for the following items: To deliver retro fit kits for the exsisting air conditioning units in the model M-1116 and the M-1145 Up-Armored High Mobility Multi-Wheeled Vehicles (UAHMMWV). The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Interested concerns may identify their interest and submit a capability statement that demonstrates their ability to provide the required equipment. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available; therefore, requests for such documents will be considered invalid responses. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to FA4803-06-Q-A072 must be in writing. All questions should be directed to Roger Ash at roger.ash@shaw.af.mil. If no affirmative responses are received by 4:30 PM EST on 9 June 2006, the Contracting Officer will proceed to issue a contract to O'gara-Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Co. The NIACS code is 336391.
