Description

The contractor(s) will perform services needed to plan, develop, and deliver a properly completed Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC) for the VISN 18 Network. The network consists of facilities located in Amarillo, Big Spring, and El Paso, Texas, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Phoenix, Tucson, and Prescott, Arizona. A plan will be accomplished for each facility. A single or multiple awards are possible. The SPCC will address three principle areas: (1) Operating procedures installed or needed by the VA to prevent the occurrence of oil spills; (2) Control measures installed or needed by the VA to prevent a spill from entering navigable waters, and; (3) Countermeasures to contain, clean up, and mitigate the effects of an oil spill that impacts navigable water. The solicitation will be available on or about June 16, 2006. Bid opening will be on or about July 17, 2006. All requests for solicitations must be in writing. This solicitation is set-aside for Small Service Disabled Veteran owned businesses. NOTE: SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS.
