Description: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a purchase order for a contractor who will develop a course-of-disease model for anthrax which will include probabilistic components for 1) exposure, 2) germination, 3) threshold of exponential bacterial growth, 4) threshold of exponential toxin production, 5) toxin effect, 6) symptom onset, and 7) mortality.
