Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, Beltsville Lab located in Beltsville, Maryland has a requirement for an Environmental Metals Analyzer, XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analyzer adapted for soils. The analyzer must be free of radioactive materials; thus, the need for an X-ray tube is critical. The analyzer must provide satisfactory results for the following nineteen (19) elements: Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Mo, Ag, Cd, Hg, Pb, Ca, K, S, P, I. It would be desirable for the analyzer to provide results for elements: Rb, Sr, Zr, Sn, Sb, and Ba. The NAICS code is 334516. Quotes are due at 4:00pm EST on 06/09/2006. The anticipated award date is 06/12/2006. Award will be made under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. All responsible sources who have a valid Dun and Bradstreet Number may submit a quotation.
