Description
NOAA intends to award a sole source follow-on procurement to Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) entitled ?High Resolution Ocean and Atmosphere PCO2 Time Series Measurements?. The contract period is for 5 years. The services will include providing carbon monitoring that will support biogeochemical measurements in the Equatorial Pacific at specific locations and will includes the filtering and measuring of surface water samples for chlorophyll and other nutrients on all of the United States TAO (Tropical Atmosphere Ocean)cruises. The Government anticipates award of a fixed price contract for four years. The period of performance will begin on date of contract award and end four years after the date of award of the contract. The ESTIMATED contract award date is August 15, 2006. A Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation will be available on or about June 15, 2006, through the Government?s website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The ESTIMATED response due date is July 31, 2006. Interested parties should use the FedBizOpps REGISTER to RECEIVE NOTIFICATION and REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR feature which provides notification when the RFP becomes available for download and all postings associated with the solicitation. Each potential offeror is responsible for checking this website to gain all the updates/ amendments to any and all documents. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued.
