- PROJECT TITLE: American River Common Features Pocket Geotechnical. LOCATION: Sacramento, California. Estimated Magnitude of this Project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Z2 99, SIC CODE: 1629, NAICS Code: 237990. The size standard for this code is $31,000,000. Information about the time and location of the site visit will be found in Section 00100 of the sp ecifications. TYPE OF AWARD: This acquisition is proceeding as an Unrestricted Request For Proposals (RFQ), Best-Value-Price-Trade-Off, with any resultant award being a Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract. JOB DESCRIPTION: This project wil l construct two reaches of cut-off walls along the Sacramento River in Sacramento County. There will be one Base Item and one Option Item. The Option Item will be exercised and funded at the discretion of the Government. Reach 9 is the Base Item, whose cut-off wall is approximately 1,480 feet long and 40 feet deep, and requires either Conventional Slurry Mix or Deep Soil Mix construction. Reach 2 is the Option Item, whose cut-off wall is approximately 1,750 feet long and 110 feet deep, and requires Deep Soil Mix construction. All PROPOSALS will be due on/about 18 July 2006/1:00 pm PST. The acquisition method is Request for Proposals (RFP). OFFERORS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATI ON, SELECTION, EVALUATION, AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. The solicitation will be available on or about 16 June 2006. Plans and specifications will not be provided in hard paper copy. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition will be posted on a secure Government website known as FedTeDS. Access to the solicitation documents on the FedTeDS website will be via a hyperlink. The hyperlink will be inserted into the notices for this acquisition posted on both the Army Single Face to Indus try (ASFI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/) and the FedBizOpps (FBO) website (www.fbo.gov) once the solicitation is issued.
