Description

The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Gordon, Ga intends to negotiate a sole source contract with ERICSSON INC.,Columbia, MD for the following items: 3 EA GigaEdge 8200 CHASSIS part# 210-100-009E modular, scalabledesign; wavelength re-use; four multip rotocol service ports in 1RU chassis, 3 EA GIGAEDGE NIM4W;component for the GigaaEdge 8200 Chassis; Marconi part# 211-100-011A, 3 EA GIGAEDGENIM4E; Component for the GigaEdge 8200 Chassis; Marconi part# 211-100-010E, 6 EA GIGAEDGE T622M; Component for the GigaEdge 8200 Chassis, Marconi part# 2112-100-007E, 6 EA S1000-1000BASE-LX,FCh; components for the GegaEdge 8200 Chassis; Marconi part# 211-100-029E, GIGACRAFT 1200 CLLIENT SOFTWARE; SOFTWARE FOR THE GIGAEDGE 8200; MARCONI PART# 226-100-009. Contractor mus t provide all items and no partial shipments are auhorized. The authority for this non-competitive award is in Section 4202 of the Clinger Cohen Act of 1996. Intrested concerns may identify their intrest and submit a capability statement that demonstrates their ability to provide the required equipment. This notice IS NOT A REQUEST for competitive proposals. No Solicitaion is available; therefore, request for such document will be considered invalid reponses. A determination not to compete this proposed req uirement is solely with the discretion of the Government. Responses to W91249-06-T-0068 must be in writing. All questions should be directed to Marcus Johnson at marcus.k.johnson@us.army.mil. Response due date is 16 June 2006. If no afffirmative responses are received by 4:00 PM EST on the 16th June 2006, the contracting officer will proceed to issue a contract ERICSSON INC. THE NAICS code is 334290.
