Description
The 375th Contracting Squadron at Scott AFB IL is contemplating an award for a cable reel trailer at Scott AFB IL. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation reference number is F3S3216121A100 and it is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-09, Effective 19 Apr 2006 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) DCN 20060519 Edition (iv) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336112. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. (v) CLIN(s): Contractor will provide transportation necessary to deliver trailer to Scott Air Force Base, Illinois before 15 July 2006. Bulldog Drop Jack, Peterson Tail Light, Electric Brake (with safety switch), Honda 13 HP gas engine (with oil alert) or equal; 25 gallon reservoir; Prince Hydraulic Pump/cylinders; hydraulic filter head; Prince 3000 PSI Cylinder (2? Bore, 12? Stroke) all hoses must be 3000 PSI; and have female swivel; JIC except brake line; reel turner brake system; must have electric brake system (with break away switch); hydraulic lifting rack for use in loading/unloading reels and will be able to lift at least 5,000 pounds at a time and have adjustable are length setting for 6 feet to 12 feet diameter reels.
