Description

Notice of Intent to award Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for software, installation, and training for the Energy Management and Control System (EMCS) to HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL INC., 11128 JOHN GALT BLVD, OMAHA, NE 68137-6309. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Honeywell currently maintains the EMCS. The EMCS controls energy consumption and temperatures on Offutt AFB. Using another system with EMCS will void the current warranty in its entirety. This requirement is to bring additional devices online with the EMCS.
