Description: Radiation Equipment Certification VISN 15 has a requirement for a medical equipment physics to do radiation equipment certification for the VA Medical Centers located in St. Louis, MO and Kansas City, MO The contractor will perform an annual survey of all diagnostic radiation equipment in accordance with the requirements of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the American College of Radiology (ACR). The survey will include performance evaluations, safety evaluations and output measurements of listed equipment. The solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business. The NAICS code is 541190 the small business size standard is 6 million dollars. The solicitation will be available June 7th with a response date of June 30th 2006 at 4:00PM CST.
