- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC), located at the Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey, intends to award a contract for Engineering and Support Services with performance at the above location. A level of effort (LOE), cost plus fixed-fee (CPFF) contract is anticipated as a result of this solicitation. Offerors will be required to submit technical and cost proposals. The services shall consist of labor, personnel and management, necessary to accomplish the effort as set forth in the Statement of Work, and shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions of SIR No. DTFACT-06-R-00021 and its attachments. The base period of performance will be for two (2) years with three (3), one (1) year option periods. The anticipated award date will be July 28, 2006. Contract performance shall begin on or about August 1, 2006. A site visit is scheduled for Thursday June 8, 2006, at 9 a.m. All interested parties will meet at the William J. Hughes Technical Center, Security Operations Center, Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey 08405. Attending the site visit in not mandatory. Offerors are hereby advised that a maximum of two (2) people per prospective bidder may participate in the site visit. Offerors are advised that this will be the only site visit scheduled. SIR No. DTFACT-06-R-00021 is provided as an attachment to this announcement along with all related attachments and other information. Any questions regarding the terms and conditions contained in the SIR or any of its attachments must be done via e-mail. All questions shall be sent to Lori.M.McAvaddy@faa.gov. All questions must be submitted no later than 2:00pm EST on Tuesday June 13, 2006. All questions shall be answered via attachment to this announcement no later than Thursday June 15, 2006. The completed SIR and all other information required for bid on this effort must be physically received in the Contracts Office no later than 2:00pm EST on Thursday, June 29, 2006 per the instructions set forth in the SIR.
