Description

The Forest Service requires the drilling of a new potable water well at the North Fork Ranger Station and the hooking up of the new water source to the existing water distribution system. Work includes, but is not limited to: well drilling, connection to existing water lines, connection to existing tank/pump controls lines, connection to existing electrical transformers, and construction of a well pumphouse. The project is located at the North Fork Ranger District, Salmon-Challis National Forest, Lemhi County, North Fork, Idaho. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The performance period will be 30 Calendar Days. Work is estimated to start July 24, 2006. Quotes are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, July 13, 2006. The estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately June 15, 2006, and may be downloaded from this site at that time. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database at www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered.
