Description

This project is for replacement of a water system in the Medicine Bow Routt National Forest, approximately 28 miles from Encampment Wyoming. The contractor shall provide all machinery, tools, equipment, material (with the exception of government furnished property, GFP), and labor necessary to construct the system. The work will include the following 1. Installation of well drop pipe, pump and wiring (Government furnished pump & wiring) 2. Installation of a water storage tank with French Drain 3. Installation of a photovoltaic System (GFP) 4. Installation of water & drain piping 5. Fence construction 6. Decommissioning of the old system The estimated cost of this project is less than $100,000.00. The NAICS is 237110 and the small business size standard is $28,500,000.00. Solicitation AG-82X9-S-06-0195 will be issued and posted on this web-site within several days. The solicitation will be issued under full and open competition pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Any responsible business concern may submit a quote which shall be considered be the agency. The Forest Service anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract using simplified acquisition procedures. The estimated award date is July 24, 2006 with an estimated start date of August 1, 2006. The period of performance will be 60 days from the Notice to Proceed.
