- Sources are sought for design services to furnish complete construction documents (plans and specifications) and construction period services for Project 573A4-07-800, ?Convert Radiology Room into Vascular Lab Room?, at the VA Medical Center, Gainesville, FL. The A/E firm selected for the design will be required to perform all necessary site survey work, such as verifying record drawings and existing asbestos survey reports. Firms should have the capability of producing construction drawings on a computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) system and furnish VA with a CD containing such drawings at construction completion. Selection will be based upon recent specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required, professional capacity to accomplish work, professional qualifications of staff and consultants assigned to project, past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry, in terms of cost control, quality of work, compliance with performance scheduled , and other appropriate evaluation criteria. Construction budget is $500,000-$1,000,000. Consideration is limited to concerns located within a 200-mile radius of Gainesville, FL.Firms desiring consideration should submit a completed copy of form SF-330 by close of business 6/30/06.
