Description

Notice of intent to award as a sole source requirement to Coherent Laser Group for a Fully Portable Forensic Laser. This proposed contract action is for a product for which the U.S. Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals; all proposals must meet the minimum requirements as per the attached Statement of Work. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received by the closing date and time will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any vendor who believes that they can provide the required item should email their company?s capabilities information to the attention of Brent Weiand no later than 12:00 PM (noon) EST, June 9, 2006 at brent.Weiand@dhs.gov Only email responses referencing PR 20021313 will be accepted.
