Description

Synopsis W15P7T-06-R-B603 The United States Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703, intends to procure services for the Communications and Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (CE-LCMC), Logistics and Readiness Center (LRC), Command and Command and Control Systems/Avionics (CCS/Avionics) Directorate for the repair and overhaul of the Improved Data Modem (IDM), MD-1359/A, NSN: 5895-01-493-4396. The IDM is a software intensive Acquisition Category (ACAT) III evolutionary acquisition program. The IDM is a six-channel tactical terminal providing digital connectivity between and among airborne and ground platforms using existing radios and cryptographic equipment, in addition to providing the critical data link between grou nd and air units by hosting FBCB2-Air software. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811213 with the corresponding small business size standard of $6.5M. The proposed action is to be a one base year and four option year Requirements contract with Firm Fixed Price Task Orders. The place of performance will be at the contractors facility. Repaired items shall be shipped FOB Destination to New Cumberland Army Depot, New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is W15P7T -06-R-B603 and will be issued on or about 2 June 2006. The estimated award date of this procurement is 28 July 2006.
