- Description
- Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to construct a new septic system at the U.S. Coast Guard Fire Island Station, Babylon, NY. The work includes but is not limited to the demolition of the existing sanitary system and the construction of six new individual sanitary systems serving thirteen housing units. Each new system shall include a septic tank, leaching structures (infiltrators or leaching pools) and associated piping. The five new systems with infiltrators will also include a distribution chamber prior to the infiltrators. This Invitation for Bids is 100% small business set-aside for which the applicable small business size standard is $13 million average annual receipts for the three previous fiscal years. This project is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. A 20% Bid Bond is required and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required after award. The applicable NAICS Code is 238910. The tentative bid opening date is 13 July 2006. Bid packages will be available on or about 12 June 2006 at a non-refundable charge of $32.
