Description

THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AND PRINTING IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS. The project consists of installation of a new treated timber bridge and construction of the approach fill. Work will include, but not be limited to: Set and maintain survey control staking by referencing Government-supplied control points; Install traffic control devices in order to keep the existing ford usable by the public; Submit an erosion control plan that will show the stream diversion plan; cofferdam and dewatering; supply and install all the bridge elements as shown on the drawings; Construct bridge approaches according to the lines and grades shown on the drawings; Obtain additional embankment material by lowering grade of the existing road beyond the proposed bridge; Salvage riprap from excavation; Obtain additional riprap material if needed from the existing Squaw Peak Pit; Place riprap and geotextile; Scatter clearing and grubbing debris by scattering on embankment slopes; Supply and place aggregate base from a commercial source, and pave the approaches and bridge deck. The project is located north of McCall, Idaho on FS 21 towards Warren. Approximately 3 miles before Warren, turn right onto road 50370. The bridge site is approximately 100 feet off of FH 21. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS: 237310. Size Standard: $28.5 Million. Estimated start date is 8/15/06 with 120 calendar day contract time. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
