Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Boulder City Regional Office, Boulder City, Nevada, intends to award on a sole source basis a purchase order to Marsha Prillwitz, 4468 Wyman Dr., Sacramento, CA 95821. This purchase order is for specialized consultation services necessary to support the work that Reclamation is performing for the study on Improving Water Resource Efficiency through coordinated, collaborative employment of Government Programs as directed by Senate Report 109-84. Reclamation is directed to "initate a study to identify concurrent and overlapping Government programs aimed at improving water resource efficiency. It is hoped that the study will encourage agencies to look beyond their individual areas of responsibility in an effort to bring about greater resources efficiencies to the southern California region." The consultant must have specialized experience and working knowledge of current grants and policies in the Federal Government, specifically US Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Water Conservation Field Service Program and State Government, specifically the State of California, Department of Water Resources, CalFed Water use Efficiency Grant Program. They must have experience in facilitating a California Landscape Task Force. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated award date is June 1, 2006.
