- The U.S. Army, Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command - Picatinny intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with MTC Technologies, Inc. 4032 Linden Avenue, Dayton, OH 45432, for a contract modification on contract W15QKN 05-C-0619 for Earned Value Support Services in support of the Project Manager Soldier Weapons (PM SW). The PM SW office is responsible for Life Cycle Systems Management for most Army Soldier Weapons Programs. The mission is to manage small arms development, weapons components, ammunition and accessory systems integration, low rate initial production, production, fielding, maintenance, sustainment, training, resolve critical materiel deficiencies, and to be the center for small arms expertise. MTC is currently providing these services under contract W15QKN-05-C-0619 for Product Manager Individual Weapons, who reports to PM SW. Under the base contract, MTC has been performed earned value support services for individual weapons. MTC is needed to perform the same support service in support of a business case analysis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. See Note 22. All comments or questions to this notice are due no later than 08 June 2006.
