- Description
- The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration Academy (FAAA), Contract and Program Administration, Out-of-Agency Training Team (AMA-26) has an annual requirement for Sikorsky S-76 Initial, Recurrent, and Supplementary Pilot Qualification Training (with ATP). DOT/FAAA anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery Requirements contract with firm-fixed prices per training course. The Contract will be established for a base year and two one-year option periods. The required courses are not guaranteed, the FAAA can only estimate requirements by the number of students requiring courses during the annual performance period. Proposals may be submitted by qualified sources. To be considered qualified, each offeror must possess an applicable training program approved under Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 121 or FAR Part 135, or a training course approved under FAR Part 141 or FAR Part 145 for the Sikorsky S-76 aircraft. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 61151. All interested sources should first attempt to download the Screening Information Request (SIR), Request for Offer (RFO) from the Internet. If downloading is not possible all requests for a copy of the SIR should be submitted in writing either via Facsimile (405) 954-3030, or via email at Avis.Franklin@faa.gov. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the agency. All requests should be submitted to Avis Franklin with reference to the SIR DTFAAC-06-R-00820.
