- Description
- Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) PMA-265 has a requirement for redesign and/or qualification testing for parts obsolescence for the APG-73 radar for the F/A-18 aircraft. Raytheon Company Space and Airborne Systems, 2000 East El Segundo Blvd, El Segundo, CA 90245-0902, is the original equipment manufacturer of the APG-73. It is anticipated that a sole source cost plus fixed fee (CPFF) award using authority under FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, will be awarded to Raytheon. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. No phone calls will be accepted. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed effort based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
